About Us

Fine cabinetry, counters and accessories are best enjoyed in an artful blend of beauty and function. Throughout a 30-year history, owner Timothy W. Cox, Community Builders, created with emphasis on fine woods and cabinetry. Early in his career as a general contractor, he purchased the current facility into a mill, casework shop, and Cabinetwork's showroom. Among many subsequent, impressive millwork projects include organ railing in St. Thomas' Church in Manhattan, New York, and all casework throughout Staunton's own Shakespeare Blackfriar's Playhouse.

Cabinetworks Inc., managed as a separate business and showroom since 1999, continues to expand quality product offerings and to partner with builders and clients to grace neighborhoods throughout Staunton, Augusta County and beyond. A broad range of projects includes kitchens and cabinetry throughout newly constructed homes, renovations from simple, to major, and many special projects like additions of offices, media rooms and libraries. Our in-house computer aided design team will make it easy for you to plan and select the right products for your individual needs.

Together, we at Cabinetworks Inc. offer the experience, resources, and vision to meet your needs and to fulfill your aspirations. Check on our Process page for many useful tips to consider when planning your project. Included will be access to information about the increasing conscientious construction of green cabinetry and surfaces.
