:: Objective ::
In May of 2004, I purchased a 3 story Victorian style brick building in the heart of the Downtown Business and Historic Districts of Staunton, Virginia www.staunton.va.us. Originally constructed in 1894, the building had been well cared for and renovated on the first two floors for retail and office space. The third floor, however, had remained unchanged for over 100 years. My program was to build an upscale open flat for myself, and a studio apartment that could either be rented or maintained as a guest suite. As a carpenter and general contractor for almost 30 years (Community Builders, Inc.) and the owner of a custom cabinet shop www. cabinetworks.cc, I was now ready to do for myself what I do for my customers. I completed the work and have been living here for over 2 years now. As much as I enjoy the space and the lifestyle, I have started another project, and I need to sell this wonderful building to finance the construction of a new showroom for my cabinet business.
